EMPOWERING PEOPLE
In order to strengthen the community developmental activities Singareni Seva Samithi efforts are towards addressing cultural and social issues, with the aim of benefiting both the company and the communities around us in the process.

To empower the people from local communities, Employment enhancing Vocational schemes for un-employed youth and women are being organized.

Free coaching for Army & police recruitment selections are conducted regularly for unemployed youth to become employable. More than 2000 persons, who are trained under our programs are recruited in Army and police dept., so far.

Financial support is being extended to Vanavasi Kalyan Parishad and Satya Sai Deaf & Dumb School where children from scheduled tribes of surrounding habitats are educated for free.

Unemployed youth of surrounding villages are being trained in various trades and given opportunity to work in outsourced jobs in open market.

Many Training programs like tailoring, beautician, applique or maggam work etc are being organized by Singareni Seva Samithi at free of cost which are aimed at empowering women to live respectable quality of life.

Many women who are trained under the programs of Singareni Seva Samithi are now entrepreneurs. These women are not only earning for themselves but also helping many other women by employing them.

The products made by these self-dependent women groups are displayed at various fares and exhibitions and Singareni Seva Samithi is helping them to sell the items they make. Marketing Avenues were created on events like Singareni Day Celebrations, Industrial Exhibition Hyderabad which is organized for 45 days.

A permanent facility for marketing of their products throughout the year, is provided at Mini Shilparamam, Uppal, Hyderabad, .

PRE-PRIMARY TEACHER TRAINING courses are conducted by Singareni Seva Samithi for women. Many women are getting certified through these courses and are finding employment as teachers at various institutions locally.

While the government of India is working hard to promote cleanliness, we at SCCL as a true partner of Government are participating in the nationalendeavor of SwachhBaharat mission.

In an innovative program, 'Singareni animutyalu' - Youth were imparted awareness and training regarding job opportunities.

International Yoga Day :-

Every year yoga programme being organized on the eve of International yoga Day at all Mines & Departments in all Areas on 21st June.

We at SCCL, understand that the community is an important stakeholder in the investments and we are keen to ensure that relationships between the communities around our mining sites are strengthened and maintained. This way, sustained social and business development is achieved.
