The company produced 37.7 million tonnes of Coal in the year 2006-07, is a profit making & dividend paying company and is now moving ahead with ambitious plan in increasing production. The Company has planned bulk production Longwall Project first time in the country at Adriyala mine in Godavarikhani, which is at a distance of 65 KM from Karimnagar and 225 KM from Hyderabad. This Project is planned to produce about 2.4 Million tonner Per annum(MTPA) with high capacity longwall technology. SCOPE OF WORK: It is proposed to make access to this Project by “Punch entries” from the neighbouring Rg.OC.II Project. These entries serve for the purpose of coal evacuation and material transport to Underground Project. DESCRIPTION OF ENTRIES: 2 to 3 entries of each about 1.8 KM. length with a dimension of not more than 5.5 m. width and 3.3 m. height. Total drivage is mostly in coal with inter-connections. Gradient is approximately 1 in 4.2 to 1 in 6. Design and support of punch entries shall be by Arching or as designed by SCCL and as approved by DGMS. It is preferred to have drivage by cutting and loading technology like Continuous Miner, Miner Bolters, Road Headers etc. SCCL invites Financially sound parties with requisite technical know-how and preferably experience in the said field of activities from Indian and International firms, companies, Joint venture and consortiums parties to attend “VENDOR MEET” to be organized on 25.05.2007 at Hyderabad (Singareni Bhavan, Lakdi-ka-pool, Khairatabad) at 11.00 AM for developing contacts with qualified and experienced bidders so as to have a clear understanding of requirements of both the parties. A letter of confirmation from interested parties on their presence at least 10 days in ahead of proposed vendors meet will be highly appreciated. Basing on the interaction at the vendors meet, further course of action including preparation of Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) will be finalized.
