Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham for Mains Aspirants of UPSC Civil Service Examination - A CSR Initiative

Every year, around 10 lakh aspirants apply for the Civil Service Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). SCCL has launched Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham for Mains Aspirants of UPSC Civil Service Examination scheme as part of its CSR activities to provide financial support of Rs. 1 lakh each to candidates hailing from Telangana districts who qualify the preliminary round of UPSC Civil Service examination 2024.
The aim of the scheme is to motivate the future Karmayogis for performing well in further stages of the examination, as they will be playing a great role in the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

1. In order to be eligible for this scheme, the candidate should be a permanent resident of any of Telangana State districts with family income of less than Rs. 8 Lakhs per annum. Such candidate should have qualified the Civil Service Preliminary Examination 2024 conducted by UPSC and must belong to:
  a) Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe
  or
  b) OBC
  or
  c) General (EWS Category)

2. The following categories of candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply under the scheme:
  a) Permanent employees of Central Govt./State Govt./UT administration/Public Sector Undertakings 
  b) Wards/ children of employees of The SCCL
  c) Those not meeting the eligibility criteria at S. No. 1 above

1. Passport size colour photograph (JPG/JPEG/PNG)
2. Scanned signature on plain paper in black or blue ink (JPG/JPEG/PNG)
3. Complete application Form submitted to UPSC for the Civil Service preliminary examination 2024 (PDF)
4. Admit card issued by UPSC for the Civil Service preliminary examination 2024 (PDF)
5. Detailed Application Form (DAF-I) Civil Services (Main) Examination - 2024
6. Aadhar Card of applicant (PDF)
7. Applicant’s Bank Account Details – Submit any one of the following: Download Mandate Form
    a. Bank Mandate Form certified by the bank (PDF)
    b. Scanned copy of Cancelled cheque of bank account of the applicant (PDF)
    c. Scanned copy of first page of passbook containing account details (PDF)
8. Permanent Residency Certificate in Government format issued by competent authority (PDF)
9. Family income certificate in Government format issued by competent authority (PDF)
10. Certificate regarding Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / General (EWS Category) in Government format issued by competent authority (PDF) Please note that clearly legible documents need to be uploaded. All documents are mandatory.
