1. SCCL received National Award for the Fly Ash Utilization 2004 - 05 jointly awarded by Ministry of Power, Ministry of Environment & Forests and Department of Science & Technology.

2. SCCL received TERI Corporate Environmental Excellence Award 2004 - 05 from The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi.

3. SCCL received TERI Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2004 - 05 from The Energy and Resources Institute New Delhi

4. SCCL received Indira Priyadarshani Vriksha Mitra Award - 2004 presented in 2007 by MoEF, GoI for outstanding contributions made in the field of afforestation and waste land development.

5. SCCL Main Hospital, Kothagudem received award from A.P. Pollution Control Board for its best practices in bio - medical waste disposal in the state during the year 2007

6. Goutham Khani Opencast received an award in recognition of practicing “Cleaner production technologies and climate change mitigation measures during 2008-2009” from A.P. Pollution Control Board
